- Pegasus used this against Yugi, when Yugi tried to attack with his Curse of Dragon. The following turn Pegasus tributed Dark-Eyes Illusionist to summon Relinquished. In the English dub, Pegasus explicitly stated that he created Dark-Eyes Illusionist exclusively for his Duel with Yugi.
- In the anime, it had 0 DEF, and the effect was not a Flip Effect.
