- This card first made its anime cameo in Episode Two. Pegasus played this card during his first duel against Yugi. Pegasus released Yugi's "Koumori Dragon" from his "Dragon Capture Jar".
- It then later appeared in Kaiba's duel with Pegasus. After summoning it, Kaiba figured Pegasus was trying to put his captured Blue-Eyes under his control and make it a Toon like he did to his previous Blue-Eyes. Kaiba was not going to let Pegasus do the same thing again and decided to destroy "Dragon Piper".
