This card's attack name in the Japanese version is Diamond Dragon Lance and its attack name in the dub is Double Dragon Lance.

In episode 5, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Weevil Underwood. He summons this card via "Polymerization" in order to prevent "Gaia The Fierce Knight" from being destroyed by "Great Moth". "Great Moth's" poisonous scales were then blown at this card, decreasing its ATK. Yugi then activates "Makiu, the Magical Mist" to have the poison removed, but this unfortunately leaves this card's ATK at 1900. "Great Moth" then attacks and destroys this card.
- In this episode, this card was simply referred to as a "Dragon-Knight Combo."

In episode 15, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against PaniK. He summons this card via "Polymerization". On the last turn of the duel, Yugi activates the first effect of "Catapult Turtle" to increase this card's ATK by 600 and Tribute it. Yugi then aims and launches this card at PaniK's "Castle of Dark Illusions" which results in Yugi taking damage equal to half of this card's ATK due to the third effect of "Catapult Turtle", however this also destroys the castle's floatation ring. After Yugi ends his turn, PaniK's "Castle of Dark Illusions" fell down on PaniK's monsters ("Barox", "Dark Chimera", "King of Yamimakai" and "Metal Guardian") and destroyed them. Due to the effect of "Chaos Shield", PaniK took damage equal to the DEF of "Castle of Dark Illusions", winning Yami Yugi the Duel.

In episode 33, Yugi Muto uses this card during his Duel against Joey Wheeler. He summons this card via "Polymerization". This card then attacks and destroys Joey's "Flame Swordsman". Joey's "Black Skull Dragon" then attacks and destroys this card.

In episode 50, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Bandit Keith while the latter was possessed by Marik Ishtar. He summons this card via "Polymerization". This card then attacks and destroys Keith's "Mechanicalchaser". Keith then activates "Machine Conversion Factory" to increase the ATK of his machines by 300. Keith's "Machine King" then attacks and destroys this card.

In episode 161, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Weevil. He summons this card via "Polymerization". This card then attacks Weevil's "Leghul", but Weevil activates "DNA Surgery" and declares Insect for its effect to turn all monsters on the field into Insect-Type monsters. Due to the effect of "Insect Barrier", this card's attack was nullified as it was an Insect-type monster. Later Weevil's "Insect Queen" (whose ATK was 3300 due to it being powered up by its own effect and the effect of "The Seal of Orichalcos") attacks and destroys this card.

In episode 220, this card is shown when Yugi is shown building his Deck for the Ceremonial Battle.

In episode 179, this card can be seen in a display case among others as part of a replica of Yugi Muto's Deck.
