- Kite Tenjo has this card in his Deck. In episode 43, he Xyz Summoned this card during the Tag-Team Duel between him and Yuma Tsukumo versus the Vetrix Family brothers Trey and Quattro through his strong and insatiable aspiration to save his younger brother, Hart Tenjo and by overlaying his two "Photon Caesar" and his "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon". He then won the Duel for him and Yuma by using this card's special ability to attack Trey's "Number 33: Chronomaly Machu Mech" and Quattro's "Number 40: Gimmick Puppet of Strings", consequently shaving both of their Life Points down to 0 in the process.
- Kite again summoned this card against Quinton in episode 56. He used it to negate the effects of "Number 9: Dyson Sphere", and destroyed it and wiped out Quinton's 4000 Life Points in a single attack.
- Kite summons this card against Vetrix in episode 64, destroying "Number 8: Heraldic King Genom-Heritage", though Vetrix avoids losing though his use of "Heraldry Protection". Vetrix summons out "Number 69: Heraldry Crest" on his next turn and uses it to negate "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon's" effect, and use it itself. As "Neo-Galaxy Eyes" is prevented from being destroyed due to "Heraldry Protection", it is attacked twice in succession, wiping out Kite's Life Points.
- In episode 70, Kite summons this card by overlaying "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" with the two "Hyper-Ancient Shark Megalodon" that Shark's "Xyz Dimension Splash" summoned. He uses its effect to negate that of "Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon", and uses its other effect to increase its ATK to 5000, attacking and destroying "Heart-eartH Dragon". In the following episode, Kite uses "Photon Escape" to banish it and avoid the attack of the revived "Heart-eartH Dragon". Yuma later Special Summons it with "ZW - Ultimate Shield".
- This card was once again used against Mizar in episode 83. He overlayed "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" with "Photon Thrasher" and "Photon Circle" (both Level 8 thanks to "Upshift") to Summon this card, before using this card's effect and attacking and destroying "Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon".
- Kite manages to summon this card in episode 134 using "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" and "Galaxy Tyranno" using the effect of "Tyranno" to overlay them into "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon". However "Neo Galaxy-Eyes" is destroyed when Mizar boost the attack of "Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon" with "Galaxy Shock".
- The attack name for this card is Ultimate Photon Stream, while its effect name is Photon Howling (i.e. when using "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" as one of its Xyz Materials). In the dub, its attack name is Ultimate Photon Stream of Destruction.
