  • Later English manga prints replace the hexagram (six-pointed star) on the monster's chest piece with a triangle to avoid religious connotation.
  • When this card was released, it was redrawn compared to her original manga artwork. This first artwork was used in all anime appearances except for Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions, which uses the fifth.
    • The third and fourth artworks change the monster's eye color from green to blue.
    • The sixth and seventh Japanese artworks are identical to the first and third, with the exception of the hexagram being edited to a pentagram (five-pointed star). The former was concurrent with a similar change to "Magician's Circle". These artworks appear to have permanently replaced the corresponding older versions.
  • All international prints of the card have the star replaced with an additional jewel, and her cleavage erased to make her outfit appear less revealing, which is additionally slightly extended in the first and third TCG artworks. All but one of the OCG artworks have been released in the TCG.
    • Curiously, the DSoD artwork was further edited in North American English releases only, obscuring the "Dark Magical Circle" in the background.
  • This card uses an artwork based on the first OCG one in Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories (although with the pink and blue of the outfit flipped around), whose cleavage is similarly erased in the international version, and a further one in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelist.
  • As with all other cards featured, this card's artwork is drawn with a different pose in Dungeon Dice Monsters, and the English version uses a perspective further away to make the hexagram harder to see.
  • Duel Art contains a more 'life-like' illustration of the monster by Kazuki Takahashi which features a black-and-silver version of the usually blue-and-pink outfit, as well as changing her eye color to purple. It was never used as a "Dark Magician Girl" alternate artwork, however it was eventually utilized for "Magi Magi ☆ Magician Gal" with minor modifications (most notably replacing the runes in the magic circle with cyrillic characters).
  • The official yugioh.com website displays yet another artwork, recognizable for depicting the monster in a similar pose as the DDM artwork and with purple 'blush stickers' instead of the common pink. Despite the site usually gathering artworks used in the international dub of the anime, this one is not know to have been used anywhere.
