OCG Rulings

  • If "D.D. Warrior Lady" attacks "Wall of Illusion", "Kelbek", etc., if you activate the banishing effect, since the activation timing of these effects is the same, the effects are placed on a chain. "Wall of Illusion" etc. always becomes Chain Link 1, then the player can activate the optional effect of "D.D. Warrior Lady" as Chain Link 2, with the chain resolving in reverse order. Therefore, "D.D. Warrior Lady" and "Wall of Illusion" etc. are banished by the effect of "D.D. Warrior Lady", then after that the effect of "Wall of Illusion" etc. does not apply.[1]
  • If "D.D. Warrior" attacks a face-down "Wall of Illusion", "Kelbek", etc., since the activation timing of these effects is the same, the effects are placed on a chain. The turn player's "D.D. Warrior" becomes Chain Link 1, then the opposing player's "Wall of Illusion" etc. becomes Chain Link 2, with the chain resolving in reverse order. Therefore, "D.D. Warrior" will be returned to the hand by the effect of "Wall of Illusion" etc, then after that "Wall of Illusion" will be banished by the effect of "D.D. Warrior".[2]
