OCG Rulings
- Returning the targeted "Mist Valley" monster to your hand is an effect of "Giant God Bird of Mist Valley", and is performed at resolution. If an effect like "Ring of Destruction" is Chained so that the targeted monster cannot be returned to the hand, then the effect of "Giant God Bird of Mist Valley" is not applied and the effect of the Spell Card/Trap Card/Effect Monster is not negated.[1]
- You can activate this card's effect and return itself to your hand.[2]
- You cannot activate the effect of "Giant God Bird of Mist Valley" multiple times in the same Chain.[3]
