Card Rulings:Rocket Pilder
TCG Rulings
- This effect activates at the end of the Damage Step and starts a Chain.[1]
- If a monster's ATK is reduced by "Rocket Pilder" and then is affected by "Shrink," the ATK of the monster becomes half of the original ATK.[1]
- If "Rocket Pilder" is negated after it reduces a monster's ATK, that monster's ATK does not go back to normal.[1]
- If "Rocket Pilder" is destroyed after it reduces a monster's ATK, that monster's ATK does not go back to normal.[1]
- Even if the equipped monster destroys its attack target, "Rocket Pilder's" effect starts a Chain.[1]
OCG Rulings
- The effect of "Rocket Pilder" which decreases ATK starts a Chain Link at the end of the Damage Step.[2]
- After the effect of "Rocket Pilder" is applied, if the equipped monster's ATK changes, then the decrease to the affected monster's ATK does not change.[3]
- If a monster has its ATK decreased by the effect of "Rocket Pilder" and is then affected by "Shrink", then the affected monster's ATK becomes half its Original ATK.[3]
- Example: "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" (3000 ATK) has its ATK decreased by 2300 by "Rocket Pilder", to 700 ATK. If "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" is affected by "Shrink", then its ATK becomes 1500.[3]
