- This card can be searched by "Dark Sage", "Ancient Gear Drill" and "Alchemic Magician".
- Use this card to Special Summon "Dark Armed Dragon" when you don't have exactly 3 DARK monsters in your Graveyard. It is even better if you have more than 3 DARK monsters in your Graveyard, so as to abuse its effect.
- As the artwork suggests, this card is great for summoning "Elemental Lord" monsters if you do not have exactly 5 monsters of the corresponding Attribute in your Graveyard.
- Special Summon "Destiny HERO - Dogma" with this card, which can potentially inflict a heavy blow to your opponent's LP.
- Special Summon a "Meklord Emperor" monster or "Relinquished", then equip it with an opponent's monster to get some use out of it, before it's shuffled into the Deck.
- Use this card to Special Summon a drawn "Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode". If you or your opponent activates a card or effect, Tribute this card to negate that activation. During the End Phase of that turn, you will still be able Special Summon this card from your Graveyard via its own effect, despite it never being Summoned with "Assault Mode Activate".
- Use this card to Summon "Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes", as it won't be shuffled into the Deck because of its own effect.
- Use a card such as "Call of the Haunted" to revive "G.B. Hunter" during your opponent's turn to prevent the monster Special Summoned with this card from returning to the Deck.
- Use this card to Special Summon any Level 10 or Lower Ritual Monster from your hand, but keep in mind that any effects based on the monster being Ritual Summoned will not activate.
