- When this cards ATK becomes low, it can be Tributed for a second "Darklord Desire".
- "Forbidden Chalice" can be used to undo the ATK decrease.
- You can use this card for any of the 3 "Virus" cards (Deck Devastation Virus, Crush Card Virus (Traditional Format only) and Eradicator Epidemic Virus) cards depending on how low its ATK gets.
- "Book of Moon" can be useful in case it gets attacked while its ATK is low, not only to reset its ATK, but to have the opponent run into a high DEF monster.
- Combine this card with "Reverse Trap" to increase its ATK.
- Use "Marshmallon", "Arcana Force 0 - The Fool", "Nova Summoner", or "Shining Angel" to keep a Fairy monster on the field to tribute for this card.
- This card is unaffected by Stardust Dragon since its effect sends a card to the graveyard without destroying it.
