- When this cards ATK becomes low, it can be Tributed for a second "Darklord Desire".
- "Forbidden Chalice" can be used to undo the ATK decrease.
- You can use this card for any of the 3 "Virus" cards ("Deck Devastation Virus", "Crush Card Virus" (Traditional Format only) and "Eradicator Epidemic Virus") cards depending on how low its ATK gets.
- "Book of Moon" can be useful in case it gets attacked while its ATK is low, not only to reset its ATK, but to have the opponent run into a high DEF monster.
- Combine this card with "Reverse Trap" to increase its ATK.
- Use "Marshmallon", "Arcana Force 0 - The Fool", "Nova Summoner" or "Shining Angel" to keep a Fairy monster on the field to tribute for this card.
- This card is unaffected by "Stardust Dragon" since its effect sends a card to the graveyard without destroying it.
- You can Tribute Summon this card by tributing the one of the Tokens produced by "Darklord Asmodeus".
- Remember, unlike Dark End Dragon, this card doesn't lose its defense points. So once its ATK is too low, it can still survive with 2800 DEF.
- A good trick is using "Reverse Trap" To increase this card's atk to 4000 while sending an opponent monster to the graveyard.
- If you want to counter that card's effect, there's no better card than Macro Cosmos : Since anything that would be sent to the grave is banished, your opponent can't send your monsters to the grave.
