- This card can be searched via "Sangan" or "Mother Grizzly".
- Instead of using "A Legendary Ocean", you can use "Wetlands" in order to give it 2400 ATK.
- This card is worth while in a "Frog" deck. It even meets the conditions for "Salvage" and "Graceful Revival", although is out-classed by "Unifrog" and "Cryomancer of the Ice Barrier".
- Special Summon "Star Boy" with "Water Hazard" and activate "Inferno Reckless Summon" to Special Summon 2 more "Star Boy"s. Activate "Wetlands" to give "Star Boy" an extra 1200 ATK and Normal Summon this card for a 3900 ATK direct attacker.
- Or, instead, switch "Star Boy" and this card to have three 2900 ATK direct attackers to deal 8700 of direct damage in one turn.
