- Lonefire Blossom is a FIRE Plant-Type that can search a WATER Plant-Type such as Lord Poison, Botanical Girl, or Lekunga, to help Speed up the Summoning Cost of Frost and Flame Dragon.
- This card is Special Summoned from your hand allowing you to Normal Summon a Level 1 Tuner monster for example Copy Plant or a Level 2 Tuner monster for example Nettles to easily summon a High Level Synchro Monster.
- The aforementioned strategies would make it a strong choice in a Plant monster theme deck as Plants have ways to abuse the graveyard, so the discard cost can easily be mitigated.
- Another strategy would be to use Mobius the Frost Monarch and Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch to soften your opponent up and destroy their defenses before removing them to summon Frost and Flame Dragon so that you can attack unopposed.
- You can use "Flame Tiger" and "Treeborn Frog" in succession for 2 of the 3 materials required to Special Summon "Frost and Flame Dragon".
