- This card can be searched by "Shock Troops of the Ice Barrier" and "Medallion of the Ice Barrier".
- This card can be Tribute Summon with one Tribute using "Unshaven Angler".
- This monster can be Normal Summoned with only one tribute using "A Legendary Ocean".
- You can send this card to the Graveyard by the effect of "Tidal, Dragon Ruler of Waterfalls" and Special Summon it by tributing "Prior of the Ice Barrier".
- Don't hesitate of Normal Summoning this card by tributing a strong Ice Barrier monster, like "General Raiho" and "Dai-sojo of the Ice Barrier", for example, since you will be able to Special Summon one of them during the End Phase.
- Combine this card with "Strategist of the Ice Barrier": activate its effect and discard a strong Ice Barrier monster, like "General Grunard" or a field-blocking one, such as "Defender" or "Cryomancer" and Special Summon the discarded monster during the End Phase.
- Combo this card with "Temple of the Sun" allow other Ice Barrier monster to gain ATK.
