- Xyz Summoning this card through Xyz Evolution can give it a 'free' extra Xyz Material compared to Xyz Summoning it normally.
- Use "Ghostrick Alucard" or "Ghostrick Dullahan" to Summon this card, then detach them to activate this card's effect. On top of being able to search out a "Ghostrick" Spell/Trap Card, the detached "Alucard" or "Dullahan" will give you another "Ghostrick" card from your Graveyard.
- Remember that this card specifies that you can attach "Ghostrick" cards to it, not just monsters. You can attach "Ghostrick" Spell/Trap Cards as well.
- Using the two effects of this card one after another (attaching, then immediately detaching) can effectively allow you to 'trade' any "Ghostrick" card in your hand for any "Ghostrick" Spell/Trap Card in your Deck.
- Since this card has little self-protection, use "Ghostrick" cards which can stall until you manage to attach 10 Xyz Materials to it, as well as cards like "Safe Zone".
- Use cards like "Overlay Regen" and "Bujin Regalia - The Jewel" to achieve this card's victory condition faster.
- Increasingly situational options include "Overlay Eater", "Overlay Capture", "Spirit Converter", and "Hazy Pillar".
- Note that if you flip this card face-down then face-up again, you can reuse its attaching effect again in the same turn. Flip this card face-down with cards like "Ghostrick Museum" or "Tsukuyomi", then flip it face-up with "Ghostrick-Go-Round" or "Ghostrick Scare".
