• 2 "Photon Slashers" can be Special Summoned (via their effects) to Xyz Summon "Constellar Pleiades" or any Rank 5 Xyz Monster.

• This card and the effect of "Photon Satellite" can be used to Xyz Summon "Photon Strike Bounzer" or any Rank 6 Xyz Monster.

• Provided there is a Level 4 monster at the beginning of your turn, Summon another one and Xyz Summon "Photon Papilloperative". Lastly, Special Summon "Slasher" and Tribute both to Special Summon "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon".

• This card works extremely well in a "Utopia" Deck. If a "Utopia" monster is on your field, "Star Drawing" can be Summoned, and then Special Summon this card with its own effect. Overlay the 2 monsters to Summon "ZW - Leo Arms".

• Since this card's effect states, "if there is an Xyz Monster on the field", as long as your opponent has an Xyz Monster on their field, this card can be Special Summoned and use as a Tribute or Xyz Summon.

• This card combos very well with Synchro Monsters. For example, Special Summon this card when there are one or more Xyz Monsters on the field, return this card to the hand with "Genex Ally Birdman", and then Special Summon this card again. Finally, Synchro Summon monsters such as "Avenging Knight Parshath", "Light End Dragon", "Stardust Dragon" and so on.

• "Starliege Paladynamo" can be Xyz Summoned, then use its effect to negate your opponent's monster and lower its ATK. Lastly, Special Summon "Photon Slasher" and Tribute it to play "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon".
