• This card is very useful to counter opponents' card effects that target your monsters, but it can leave you open to an attack. For example, the opponent summons Exiled Force and tributes it to activate its special effect, targeting a monster on your field. You can activate this card in response and remove that monster from play temporarily.

• This card can also be used to prevent your own monsters from being destroyed, removed from the field, or penalized in some manner by their own effect or a card's effect, such as Theinen the Great Sphinx, The Majestic Mechs -Goryu, Senku, and/or Ohka, or Card effects similar to Fake Hero, Ritual Foregone, Instant Fusion, and even Return from the Different Dimension.

• Use this card on any LV monster which levels during your standby phase to ensure their survival.

• Try to refrain from using this card while there is a Jowgen the Spiritualist or Vanity's Fiend on the field. Because the monster's return is considered a Special Summon (According to the official rulebook), that summon would be negated and the monster would stay removed from play. Having said that though, This card is excellent to protect Dark Magician of Chaos, Granadora, and Spirit of the Pharaoh from harm, while giving an opportunity to trigger their special summon effects again (Note: being a special summon monster, Spirit of the Pharaoh does work with this card, as long as the innitial summoning requirement was fulfilled)

• If This card is used on Vanity's Ruler or Vanity's Fiend, the card would not be Special Summoned back due to their own effect.
