"Lavalval Chain":

Use this card's effect to manipulate "Dandylion", "Wulf, Lightsworn Beast" and "Mezuki" by either sending them to the Graveyard or placing them on top of the Deck when planning on milling.

Place a powerful monster on top of the Deck such as "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning" or "Dark Armed Dragon".
- Using a draw card like "Upstart Goblin" or "Archfiend's Oath", gives instant access to that monster.
- With those two examples in particular, this card's other effect will help Summon them by manipulating the Graveyard.

Xyz Summon this card with a "Gem-Knight" and mill "Gem-Knight Fusion"; then, banish the "Knight" to bring "Gem-Knight Fusion" to the hand.

Use this card's effect with "Laval Phlogis" to turn this card into a 2100 ATK beater.
- This will also increase the ATK of any other face-up "Laval" monsters by 300.

Use this card's effect in an Exodia Deck to add two of the pieces to the hand faster.

Use this card's effect in a "Koa'ki Meiru" Deck to send the "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" to the Graveyard.
- On the next turn, follow up by placing "Koa'ki Meiru Maximus" on top of the Deck.
- This is also useful to get any Type of monster to use as maintenance.

When using this card in a "Gadget" Deck with "Ultimate Offering", this card allows Synchros to appear in the combo without actually having drawn Tuners, allowing for "Mist Wurm" plays where prior they required more than just "Ultimate Offering" and "Gadget" monsters in hand.

This card is extremely useful in "Infernity" Decks as well - the first effect can fill the Graveyard for "Infernity Necromancer", "Infernity Mirage" and "Infernity Launcher", while the second one can be used to set-up the effect of "Infernity Archfiend".

This card also works well in a "Naturia" Deck, as you can get it out fast with "Naturia Pumpkin". Use its first effect to get cards into the Graveyard for "Naturia Eggplant", "Naturia Marron" or "Naturia Stag Beetle", or use its second ability to place "Naturia Bamboo Shoot", etc., on the top of the Deck.

This can work wonders in an "Inzektor" Deck. Summon "Summoner Monk", pitch a Spell to Special Summon "Armageddon Knight" and dump "Inzektor Hornet". Then Xyz into this and place "Inzektor Dragonfly" to the top of the Deck.

This card can also be used in a "Crystal Beast" deck, sending 2 Crystal Beasts to the Graveyard for an easier Rainbow Dragon.

Use the second effect twice to draw "Archlord Kristya" and "Hecatrice" (discarding the latter to gain "Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen") in two turns, to easily summon "Kristya".

You can use the first effect to send cards like "Plaguespreader Zombie", "Level Eater" and "Quillbolt Hedgehog, Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite" for synchro/special/tribute summoning.

This Monster can be very useful too in Exodia Decks, as you can either place an "Exodia" piece on the top or send it to the Graveyard and recover it with "Dark Eruption" or "Dark Factory of Mass Production".
