"Level Up!":

This card is at its best when trying to upgrade any Type 1 "LV" monster, but be warned—"Armed Dragon LV7" cannot upgrade to "Armed Dragon LV10" with this card, because "Armed Dragon LV10" is not written in the card text of "Armed Dragon LV7".
- While Type 3 "LV" monsters cannot activate their effects if you use "Level Up!", you can use this card to thin out your Deck by up to 3 cards.

If you can, using "Level Modulation" to Summon the lower Level version of a monster and then using this card is better than using "Level Modulation" to Summon the highest one available; that way, you are free to attack with it the same turn.
