  • If you have 2 "Marauding Captain"s in your hand, you can summon both out and prevent your opponent from attacking any face-up Warrior monsters.
  • "Marauding Captain" can be equipped with "Heart of Clear Water" to prevent it from being destroyed by battle or effects that target as long as its ATK remains below 1300, thereby protecting your Warriors for longer periods.
  • If you equip "Mist Body" to a "Marauding Captain", your Warrior monsters will be protected through his immunity to battle destruction. This is a good choice to go with if you have either lost your other "Marauding Captains" earlier on in the duel, or you need to stall.
  • Use this card's effect to Special Summon "Gemini Scorpion" and Special Summon a level 4 or lower Gemini monster from your hand, allowing you to swarm the field.
  • Use this card to special summon any level 3 monster from your hand to quickly Xyz Summon a rank 3 Xyz monster like Grenosaurus.
  • This monster's effect can allow you to Synchro Summon powerful level 8 monsters on your first turn. Summon this card, and bring out a level 2 tuner monster, then Synchro Summon X-Saber Wayne. With Wayne's effect, special summon a level 3 tuner from your hand, such as Junk Synchron or XX-Saber Fulhelmknight. You can then Synchro Summon again to bring out a powerful monster like Junk Destroyer or Colossal Fighter.
