- If your opponent activates Dimensional Prison on one of your monster's attacks, you can use this card's effect to negate your own attack, and dodge that card's effect.
- This does not work on Mirror Force.
- If possible to summon this card, it can easily kill a Light and Darkness Dragon. If you attack LaDD with him, use his effect to negate his own attack. LaDD will negate your effect, and have only 2300 attack left, which is enough to kill him by battle.
- Typically, you would not summon this card if you lost advantage while doing it. Cards that can Summon other cards without a cost, such as "Gladiator Beast Darius" and "Gravekeeper's Spy" can gain access to it when needed but without losing cards in the process. Other ideas are:
- "Summoner Monk" to summon a level 4 monster.
- You can use Gadgets and "Ultimate Offering" to summon up to 3 of this in one turn if you run one pair of each Gadget.
- Better yet, run 3 of each and you can OTK against an empty field!
- In a Koa'ki Meiru deck, use "Koa'ki Meiru Urnight's" effect to summon another level 4 monster to Exceed Summon this card quickly.
- "Batteryman AAA" is a good way to summon this card quickly and effectively providing you have another AAA in your hand or Graveyard. Also, if "Hope" is destroyed you can just use "Portable Battery Pack" to bring back the AAAs and Exceed Summon another "Hope".
- You can use "XX-Saber Boggart Knight" and Special Summon either "X-Saber Galahad", "XX-Saber Garsem", or "XX-Saber Boggart Knight" and use them to Exceed Summon this card.
- Negate your own attack using its effect then use "Double Up Chance" to enable one of your monsters to attack with twice the power instead.
- This card can be summoned in Six Samurai decks by using 2 "Legendary Six Samurai - Kizan".
- This card's effect can be used to prevent your monsters from being forced to attack.
- Because this card is a LIGHT-Attribute monster, you can use Honest if your opponent attacks it with a stronger monster, preventing you from wasting the Exceed Material Monsters when using its own effect.
- Because this card is also a Warrior-Type, you equip this card with Light Laser to remove any of your opponent's monsters from play after battle.
