Cards that can turn Monsters into Equip Spell Cards:
Equip Spell Cards that cause useful Card Effects to occur when they are Destroyed:
- "Ancient Gear Tank" (your opponent will take 600 damage, as well as lose their set cards)
- "Big Bang Shot" (Activate "Big Bang Shot", equip it to your opponent's monster, use "Release Restraint Wave", destroy "Big Bang Shot", remove your opponent's monster, wipe your opponent's face downs off the field)
- "Smoke Grenade of the Thief" (Activate "Smoke Grenade of the Thief", activate "Release Restraint Wave", destroy "Smoke Grenade of the Thief", make your opponent discard a card, wipe your opponent's face downs off the field)
- "Crystal Release" (Activate "Crystal Release", activate "Release Restraint Wave", destroy "Crystal Release", get a "Crystal Beast" monster from your Deck to the field)
- "Black Pendant" (Destroy "Black Pendant" to inflict 500 damage)
- "Power Tool Dragon" can allow you to get a certain equip spell by choosing three of the same card, which would definitely help you get a good card to work well with "Release Restraint Wave" (such as "Big Bang Shot" on an opponent's monster).
- "Horn of the Unicorn" or "Sword of Deep-Seated", which will return to the top of your Deck once it is sent to the Graveyard. Use "Sunlight Unicorn"'s effect to retrieve it.
- "Fusion Sword Murasame Blade": It will not be destroyed at all, allowing you to costlessly destroy your opponent's cards.
- "Calamity's Armaments": Upon its destruction, it will be equipped to a monster that your opponent controls.
- "Supervise" will allow you to Special Summon a Normal Monster from your Graveyard when it is destroyed.
- "Dragunity Aklys" that give you an advantage to destroy 1 card on your opponent's field once this equipped card is sent to your Graveyard. Since "Release Restraint Wave" will destroy all of your opponent's spells and traps, 1 of their monsters should be the target for this card effect.
- You can also destroy Union Monsters for the cost of this card, if they are treated as Equip Spell Cards.
- Use "Magic Reflector" to keep your Equip Spell Card on the field.
Traditional Format
- "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" can be used to turn opponent's Monsters into Equip Spell Cards.
