* This card CAN be activated during the Damage Step. Use this card to stop "recruiting" effects: "[[Mystic Tomato]]", "[[XX-Saber Emmersblade]]", "[[Apprentice Magician]]" (if it goes to the Graveyard), and similar cards. These are usually very hard to stop outside "[[Divine Wrath]]" and "[[Solemn Warning]]". Having a way to negate such effects that isn't affected by "[[Royal Decree]]" or "[[Seven Tools of the Bandit]]" is very handy.

  • This card can be very useful to stop "Mermail", "Plant", "Dark World", "Fabled" and "Gusto" themed Deck effects as all of these Deck types regularly run cards that activate in the Graveyard on discard, leaving the field or destruction.
  • This card is unable to stop the negation effect of "Stardust Dragon", but it can be used to stop its return during the End Phase.
  • This card cannot be used to stop "Effect Veiler", "Honest", etc. because they activate in the hand, not the Graveyard.
  • Combined with "Hanewata", this card is very easily discarded to the Graveyard as tech options for "Chaos" toolbox summoning. Simply used both cards for their effects when the opportunity presents itself, then banish them for the requirement of a Special Summon when needed without wasting other cards you might prefer to retrieve from the Graveyard at a later time.
