- Use "Cyber Dragon", "The Tricky" or "Vice Dragon" to easily Special Summon this card.
- Use "Instant Fusion" to Special Summon a Level 5 Fusion Monster like "Flame Swordsman", then Synchro Summon "Turbo Warrior".
- This card's effect makes it extremely handy against most Synchro Monsters, and it is also immune to common nasty effects such as those of "Evil HERO Lightning Golem", "Man-Eater Bug", "Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter", "Old Vindictive Magician", "Penguin Soldier", and all of the Monarchs.
- You can either discard one card to summon "The Tricky" and use "One for One" to summon "Turbo Synchron", or discard one monster to summon "Quickdraw Synchron" and use "One for One" to summon any other non-tuner monster.
- "Stygian Dirge" can make this card resistant to more of your opponent's monster effects, but able to contend with less of your opponent's synchro monsters in battle.
- Turbo Warrior is one of the few ways to easily defeat "Stardust Dragon". If your opponent controls Stardust and you control no monsters, you can special summon "Cyber Dragon" or "The Tricky" and normal summon "Turbo Synchron". Alternatively you could normal summon "Apocatequil" and activate "One for One" to special summon Turbo Synchron. If "Turbo Warrior" attacks "Stardust Dragon", the latter is destroyed with his original ATK halved.
- Discard "Dandylion" to special summon "Quickdraw Synchron", and use "Quickdraw" and a Fluff token to synchro summon this card.
- You can activate "Mischief of the Yokai" to protect this card from nasty effects like those of "Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" and "Meklord Emperor" for one turn.
- This card is one of the few Synchro Monsters that can defend itself from the Meklord Emperors, with the exception of "Meklord Astro Mekanikle" and "Meklord Astro Dragon Asterisk". This is because all the Meklords are level 1, except for the "Meklord Astro's", so "Turbo Warrior" can't be targeted by the Meklords' effects.
