- This card is named after Zhang Daoling.
- Even not belonging to the 108 Liangshan heroes, Zhang Daoling was apart from the novel.
- Zhang Daoling is nicknamed, "Celestial Master Xujing".
- According to wikipedia, "marshal Hong Xin" was sent in need to search help to combating a plague, where "Hong Xin" meet "the master".
- This part of novel explains why "Choten" has a boy's body.
