• This card's name is derived from the full title given to "Buster Blader" when it first appeared in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 172 (Duelist Duel 113): "Summon the Nightmare" and in the original Japanese version of Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 06767: "Mime Control, Part 3".
  • This card's Japanese name adds an extra dash, changing it from (竜破壊の剣士 バスター・ブレイダー) to (竜破壊の剣士－バスター・ブレイダー).
