  • Eltanin, also called Gamma Draconis, is the brightest star in the constellation Draco.
  • "Eltanin" in this card's name is similar to the Arabic "al tineen," which means "the dragon." (This would also make sense because the heads are dragons).
  • This card's Summoning requirements, its multiple head, as well as the fact that it gains ATK based on the number of monsters it removed, are reminiscent of "Evil Dragon Ananta".
