  • The explosion in this card's artwork is similar to those featured on the "Reactor" monsters. Both this card and the "Reactors" are used by Greiger in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime and are depicted as partly-humanoid machines resembling aircrafts. "Trap Reactor・Y FI" is even used in tandem with "Black Salvo", another one of Greiger's cards, to make this card, further establishing the link between this card and the "Reactor" archetype.
  • This card's effect is an advanced version of the effect of "Cannon Soldier".
  • This card's moving from Forbidden to Unlimited in the OCG April 2014 Lists makes it the first card to be removed from the Forbidden List and not be Limited, but only due to having a complete errata changing its original effect to a new one first.
