- This card bears quite a few similarities to "Number 10: Illumiknight": knight basis, white armor, both wield a sword, and a green orb in their chest.
- This card also bears quite a few similarities to "Starliege Paladynamo"
- Unlike many other Warrior-Type monsters, "Daybreaker" has no shield. This could be a reference to the fact that it has 0 DEF.
- This card is featured in the artwork of "Photon Booster".
