- The effect of this card that prevents the opponent from activating Spells or Traps is similar to that of "Evil Hero Wild Cyclone", "Zeman the Ape King" and some of the "Ancient Gears".
- This card was the first Dark Synchro Monster to be introduced. Its WATER Attribute suggested that Dark Synchro Monsters were not just Synchro Monsters with DARK Attribute.
- The Synchro Material Monsters listed on this card is similar to Zeman the Ape King's.
