When this card was first Summoned in the anime, it was concealed in a bright blue light similar to the "Photon" monsters, which made it initially resemble "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" before revealing its actual form.
- This card has the same ATK and DEF as "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" and is Rank 8, while "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" is Level 8.

This card seems to actually be a play on Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, as they have the same attack and defense, similar name structure; Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon is level 8, while Trashy-Eyes Fat Dragon is rank 8. Also, Kite Tenjo, Orbital 7's master, uses Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon.
