- This monster's second Effect is the same as that of another Insect-Type monster, "Armored Centipede".
- This card has an anime-only Equip Card known as "Insect Pheromone", which also shows this card in its artwork.
- Apparently this monster also has a hidden dark side, as seen on the card.
- This card is the first, and so far only, Insect anti-support monster; the only other anti-support cards for Insects are "Insect Barrier" and "Eradicating Aerosol".
