Card Trivia:King of Yamimakai
- This monster appears in the artworks of "Dark Contract with the Yamimakai" and "D/D/D Headhunt".
- This card's TCG name, "King of Yamimakai" is a partial translation of its Japanese name, "Supreme King of the Dark Demon World" (
闇 魔 界 の覇 王 Yamimakai no Haō).
- This card is one of the few monsters whose ATK or DEF is not divisible by 50: others include "Castle of Dark Illusions", "Sword Arm of Dragon", "Dark Chimera", "Reaper of the Cards", "Barox", and "Number S39: Utopia Prime". Of the cards listed, PaniK had all of these cards in his Deck minus "Number S39: Utopia Prime" and "Sword Arm of Dragon", and they were all Summoned during his Duel with Yugi Muto in the Yu-Gi-Oh!.
- The Bandai version of this card is a Level 7 monster (the level it had in the manga) with 2600 ATK and 1600 DEF. In Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards and Yu-Gi-Oh! Reshef of Destruction, this card is still Level 5 but has 2600 ATK and 2300 DEF (the ATK and DEF it had in the manga).
- This card's Bandai artwork is taken from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 83 (Duelist Duel 24): "Swords of Light", specifically from the panel showing "Castle of Dark Illusions" falling on the Player Killer's monsters.
