- This monster appears in the artworks of "Present Card" and "Trick Buster".
- This card is named after Kuribon, an enemy from Super Mario World, simply called Goomba in the English version.
- This card's name, "Kuribon", is a portmanteau of "Kuriboh" and "ribbon".
- This card is the only female "Kuriboh"-related monster.
- However, in the dubbed version of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's episode 18: "Return to the Spirit World, Part 1", Professor Frank referred to this monster as a "he", despite its feminine appearance.
- This card is the first "Kuriboh"-related monster that was not used by the main protagonist of the anime.
