- This card's Special Summon is similar to "Dark Simorgh".
- This card looks similar to "Felgrand Dragon".
- This card's chest design and overall pose is reminiscent of "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon".
- This card also looks strikingly similar to Priest Seto's Garestgolath spirit monster in the Milennium World arc.
- This card may be the LIGHT counterpart of "Darkflare Dragon". Both have "Chaos"-style Summoning requirements, this card's effect can Special Summon "Darkflare" (Darkflare is a Level 5 DARK Dragon-Type, the exact minimum of Lightpulsar's effect), and "Darkflare" can send this card to the Graveyard in order to be Special Summoned by its own effect.
