(Bandai version has its own page. The Japanese word for Dinosaur contains the Japanese word for Dragon. Same with a number of species of Dinosaur, so there's nothing unusual about this.)

  • Despite being called a "Dragon" in its name, this card is Dinosaur-Type.
  • Although this monster is based on Stegosaurus, it does not have the four tail spikes seen on the real animal; instead, it has a "stinger" resembling that of scorpions.
  • This is one of the few cards whose ATK/DEF is not divisible by 50. The others are "King of Yamimakai", "Castle of Dark Illusions", "Dark Chimera", "Reaper of the Cards", "Barox", and "Number S39: Utopia Prime".
    • Out of those cards, this and "Number S39: Utopia Prime" are the only cards that was not used by PaniK in the anime (the latter was not introduced until several series later.)
    • This is the only card with 2030 DEF.
  • This card's artwork is taken from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 78 (Duelist Duel 19): "I Won't Lose!", specifically from the panel showing this monster attacking and destroying "Axe Raider".
