- This monster has a counterpart: "Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon".
- This was the first card ever to have its Type errata'd; initial prints were misprinted with the Dragon-Type, but its card description called it a Dinosaur. When the booster pack Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon was re-released, it was given the proper Dinosaur-Type.
