- In the Yu-Gi-Oh! R Hero Jump Special, "Van'Dalgyon" was the rival card of "Tualatin".
- This card is similar to "Voltanis the Adjudicator". Both have 2800 ATK, both summon themselves when a Counter Trap is successfully activated, and both perform an additional effect once summoned to the field in this way.
