- This card is one of the only two "Dark World" Normal Monsters, the other one being "Renge, Gatekeeper of Dark World".
- This card's flavor text hints that this monster, and even "Dark World" monsters in general, are not entirely evil (if at all), and are only stereotyped by other creatures due to their appearance and Attribute. In the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime, however, he and other "Dark World" monsters are portrayed as evil, although this was because their leader "Brron, Mad King of Dark World", was influenced by "Yubel".
