Revision as of 21:31, 15 January 2010

Ok, my idea is to create a Semi-OTK by having three Darkblaze at the same time or an OTK with one Montage Dragon with two Darkblaze. This is what I have so far.

Really, help please!!!

I have consider a Morph Jar, but...

it'd be a good idea to change your flame rulers for totem dragon, since they are dragons too they help you summon Five headed dragon (but to do that you would need to use an all-dragon deck). It's not wise to just splash The Creator on any deck, since it requires support to be properly played, a good alternative would be Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon (they are getting cheaper on march). More copies of Five headed Dragon and Future fusion (with a Dragon's Mirror) could be usefull to you. HouseholdCatDeity 22:12, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

Okay, first off I really don't see the LIGHT+FIRE mash-up working. Kaiser Sea Horse and Flame Ruler are fairly slow cards, and shouldn't be used in this deck if it hopes to be an OTK, or at least fairly fast.

One card that could speed this up though is Dark World Dealings. Draw a card, discard a card. This allows you to dump Darkblaze Dragon into the graveyard while also milling through your deck. Another good card(s)to add might be Card Trooper and Card Destruction, to further mill through your deck.

For speed and swarming, I would suggest adding in at least 1 copy of Mausoleum of the Emperor and/or Ultimate Offering to help speed things up. Additionally, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon will greatly help in your swarming capabilities, and I suggest you add 2-3 of him to replace The Creator.

So changes I would make:

+1 Time Machine

-1 Lighten the Load/ -1 Dimensional Prison

-1 UFO Turtle/ +1 Masked Dragon

- All LIGHT -related monsters/ + Dragon revival cards ( Totem Dragon), plus standard staples for a Dragon deck that will help stall/ defend

I removed: 1 UFO, 1 The Creator, 2 Flame Rulers, 2 Kaiser Sea Horse, 1 Heavy Storm, 1 Ribbon of Rebirth, and 2 Dimensional Prision.

I added: 2 Totem Dragons, 1 Masked Dragon, 1 Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, 1 Card Trooper, 2 Five-Headed Dragon, 2 Dark World Dealings, 1 Mausoleum of the Emperor, and 1 Time Machine.

Now, I tell you this idea I have think about it: Ribbon of Rebirth is very slow IMO, so what about Symbols of Duty? It would be a good idea, but first I'd need a normal Dragon, but what about a Geminis Dragon? Chthonian Emperor Dragon, is treated as a Normal Monster, and besides is a Level 6 Monster. So what about adding a Cost Down to summon them faster? Besides, it would be a good card to send Darkblaze to the graveyard.

If you like this idea, tell me which cards should I remove.

Oh, and one more think. It is obvious that my opponent will not attack Decoy Dragon when a high=level Dragon Monster is on the Graveyard. So I have think that I should add Call of the Earthbound, Ring of Magnetism, and/or Battle Mania. But there is this famous question again+ Which cards should I remove...

--186.16.64.90 21:27, January 14, 2010 (UTC)gray=kaiser...

Well, though Symbols of Duty could work, it is too situational and slow (as partly with Ribbon of Rebirth) to be used consistently. Also, adding in single or multiple cards for 1 card is never going to speed up things.

Which brings me to your second idea, which I also suggest against. As said above, adding in card(s) for just 1 other card usually only slows things down.

Now, the main flaw with this deck is its dependence on revival cards. Without them, Darkblaze Dragon isn't going to come out of the graveyard. And as I said above in my first message, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon is a must. Not only does he provide continuous swarming, but he is incredibly easy to summon. Another great card to include would be Dragon Ice. He can defend your lifepoints, and provides the summoning requirement for Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon. With adding them, taking into account the other cards, I would add in 1 Ultimate Offering and another Mausoleum of the Emperor to speed up summoning.

So, again, here are the changes I would make; These are mostly changed to speed up the deck with summoning, or for more general purposes:

-1 Lighten the Load

-1 Ribbon of Rebirth

-1 Spear Cretin

-2 Bottomless Trap Hole

-1 Inferno Reckless Summon

-1 Herald of Creation

-1 Sangan

-1 Decoy Dragon

+1 Card Destruction

+1 Ultimate Offering

+1 Morphing Jar

+1 Torrential Tribute

+2 Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon

+1 Mausoleum of the Emperor

+2 Dragon Ice

And just to let you know, your card counts are completely off. I spent more then a half-hour thinking I was adding something incorrectly trying to get the deck to 40 cards. Please change this as soon as possible, it is very confusing.

Anyways, if you use those new changes the deck would be:
