Revision as of 23:04, 20 April 2012

So, I liked the Normal Fusion idea that was posted up by Darkskylarkalexanderx ( I also like the Structure Deck idea, but I'd like a few more comments on that from the WDC contestants. Please comments at Forum:Ideas for the 3rd Installment of WDC!!!!!!!!! N.B.: If I don't see discussion, I'll just do a random page x10 for a week.

Anyway, the theme for this contest is to create a deck that can Fusion Summon really difficult to summon fusion monsters; such as Super Vehicroid - Stealth Union or Supreme Arcanite Magician, while the latter may seem easy to summon, she really isn't. Anyway, create a deck that can summon out these monsters, and make them fun to use and creative.

  • This contest will be in March 1st, 2012 Banlist.

Comments? Questions?

Is it a must to have the Deck be able to legitimately Fusion Summon its target Fusion? *coughGaiaDrakecough* --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 09:43, April 12, 2012 (UTC)

Or maybe focusing on the Hex-Sealed Fusion? 33royward (talkcontribs) 10:54, April 12, 2012 (UTC)

I think Naturia Exterio deserves to be in this contest 33royward (talkcontribs) 10:57, April 12, 2012 (UTC)

Gadjiltron, no it doesn't have to be. Hmm, forgot him. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:33, April 12, 2012 (UTC)
I will add Naturia Exterio to the list! You may change decks if you wish, and the due date will be extended by 2 days! ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:33, April 12, 2012 (UTC)

I made the deck section a little early, and if you must post early, please tell me on my talk page. But if you don't need to, post up your deck starting on April 19.---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:44, April 14, 2012 (UTC)

I will start voting after all decks have been entered. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 12:45, April 19, 2012 (UTC)

Decks

Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste

Skullvarnish

Gaia Drake, the Universal Force

Elite Wolf

33RW

This is my Gaia Drake deck. In this deck, i have 3 ways on summoning Gaia Drake; Summoner of Illusions, The Earth - Hex Sealed Fusion and lastly Miracle Synchro Fusion. The easiest way summoning him is using Summoner of Illusions. My usual tribues is Spell Striker and Reborn Tengu because of their own ways. The Earth utilizes of me Synchro summoning Scrap Archfiend/Gaia Earth and tributing both to summon Gaia Drake. It is quite easy to Synchro summon because i usually synchro summon with 3+3 method using Marauding Captain to summon my level 3 tuners or Special Summon Spell Striker then normal summon my Level 3 Tuner. Another option is the Birdman and Tengu method to summon Scrap Archfiend. And to get both my synchro and Hex Sealed fusion onto the field, I will set Giant Rat and wait for it get destroyed by opponent and search Hex Sealed Fusion then on my turn, summon my Synchro Monster. When using the Hex Sealed Fusion method, i can use Miracle Synchro Fusion to remove the materials in my graveyard and Fusion Summon Gaia Drake. Thank You and hope you like my deck 33RW (talkcontribs) 04:10, April 19, 2012 (UTC)

Supreme Arcanite Magician

Gadjiltron

Somewhere in the world (to be precise, my time zone) it is 19th April.

The theme of this Deck is Spell Counters, and it is designed to rack up as many Spell Counters as needed for necessary effects, like those of Magical Exemplar or Arcanite Magician.

But first and foremost, the star of the Deck. Supreme Arcanite Magician requires a Spellcaster Synchro Monster and any other Spellcaster Monster as its Fusion material, something that's easy to meet with a nearly pure Spellcaster Deck. All the Spellcaster Synchro Monsters themselves demand that I use a Spellcaster non-Tuner but don't really mind the Tuner being used, so summoning them is also quite easy. Their effects also deal with Spell Counters, which makes it hard to not use them in the Deck.

When it comes to Synchro Summoning, Magical Exemplar is the key card for this. By far, she's better than many other Spell Counter generators at 2 Counters per Spell Card, and can also Special Summon a low-level Spellcaster Monster from the hand or Grave after just one use of a Spell Card. Combined with Night's End Sorcerer, I can instantly make Explosive Magician or Tempest Magician, instantly setting the stage for Supreme Arcanite once Miracle Synchro Fusion is drawn. If needs be, I can also use Geomancer of the Ice Barrier with her to make the original Arcanite Magician, or Effect Veiler to pull out any LV5 Synchro. If push comes to shove, The Tricky can also be used to make LV7 or 8 Synchros too.

Now, about dabbling with Spell Counters... Magical Citadel of Endymion and Spell Power Grasp are the go-to cards for Spell Counter storage and generation respectively, while Crusader of Endymion works as an excellent beatstick and an alternative means of Counter generation. Breaker is always handy for taking out potentially threatening S/Ts in a pinch, and his bonus 300 ATK is easily maintained with everything I have for generating Counters. If Endymion gets played early and filled suitably, the result would be more than enough counters to wreak havoc with Supreme Arcanite, or a nice game-ending burn using Tempest Magician's effect.

Oh, about the name... I've been naming some of the Decks I create after the Major Arcana. It just fits right in with the Spellcaster theme. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 03:38, April 19, 2012 (UTC)

Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill

Nephthy

The deck can summon Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill three ways: Future Fusion, Vehicroid Connection Zone and Power Bond. You can search for the Fusion Materials with Geargiganto X or Machina Armored Unit, and add them to your hand from te graveyard with Expressroid. The Karakuris and Tinplate Goldfish are for the easier summon of Geargiganto X. The deck works well against slower decks, but not fast enough to defeat Inzektors and Dark Worlds. The more destruction effects the opponent uses, the harder is to summon Jumbo Drill. It worked for me surprisingly well against Dino-Rabbit and Wind-up decks. Instead of Karakuris you can use Geargia monsters or Gadgets, but I prefer these cards. This is not a consistent Tier deck, use only in fun duels, but it can make an OTK in the least predicted moments.

Super Vehicroid - Stealth Union

DSAX

First of all, I have to thank DASP for using a lot of my examples. I'm glad to have helped.

Now, for the deck, it's odd-ish, not completely Roid based, and it can probably run without Roids. However, "Barbaroid" and "Stealth Union" give the deck some power, especially since they are so easy to summon.

"Barbaroid" can be summoned via "Future Fusion", which is very easy, and you can use monsters in your hand, field or graveyard if you use "Chain Material". For "Stealth", I used the oldest trick in the book: "Vehicroid Connection Zone" + "Chain Material". This means you can get a beatstick with 3600 ATK and the ability to snatch 1 monster from your opponent's side of the field per turn. "Vehicroid Connection Zone" makes "Stealth" immune to destruction, which protects it from "Chain" and, also, "Limiter Removal", and that is a very powerful combo.

My last abusable combo is "Geargiganto X" and "Expressroid". If you have a "Giganto" and 1 or more Roid(s) in the graveyard (providing 1 was attached, otherwise you'd need 2 or more), you could use his effect to search for "Express" by detaching a Roid, then summon "Express" to recover the 2 Roids to use all over again.

This deck can summon the key monster easily and it has plenty of other monsters for backup firepower. All-in-all, quite a strong deck considering how weak the Archetype itself is. --Darkskylarkalexanderx (talkcontribs) 19:46, April 19, 2012 (UTC)

Ultimate Axon Kicker

Naturia Exterio

GrazzingCow

This Deck has 2 ways to get out Naturia Exterio. The most used is utilizing The Earth - Hex-Sealed Fusion with one of the materials. Getting Naturia Barkion or Naturia Beast out is very easy the hard part is making sure they live to merge with the The Earth - Hex-Sealed Fusion. To address this I included Rock Bombardment which puts him right in the grave and makes him and easy target for the 3 coths or reborn. The teleport engine allows for choosing barkion or beast when synching, important when you plan to use Miracle Synchro Fusion. The Shrinks and Fiendish Chains are included strictly because the deck can not battle well or tends to lack the strength to beat high atk decks or effect monster decks, they help keep your hex-sealed and your barkion/beast alive long enough to play exterio and lock down both magic and trap.

A lot of fun, and your opponent is always shocked when it comes out. Grazzingcow (talkcontribs) 05:21, April 20, 2012 (UTC)
