a friend of mine is making a Gemini-based deck. I can think of some useful cards, like Chain Summoning and Ultimate Offering, but his main concern is that it will be a slow-moving deck. Any other suggestions to speed it up a little?

You have to dump everything in the grave and use revival spells, like Swing of Memories or Silent Doom, then pull out Superalloy Beast Raptinus (easy to do both w/ Future Fusion). Summon Gigaplant, and use his effect to quickly pull out three Gigaplant's, with Lonefire Blossom if necessary. Finally, use the last Gigaplant to summon Blazewing Butterfly and use him to summon any Gemini from the grave, preferably Dark Valkyria for destruction or CED for attack power. Check out my deck to see what I'm talking about.Gemini69 17:43, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

You should run Grasschopper in that deck Gemini, Giga can summon it and its a field wiper

Look up support cards on the Gemini Monsters page. Most of them help summon and Gemini Summon Gemini monsters. New support cards have been released such as the synchro monster Black Bulldrago. These cards will really up your friend's game. --Dragonking 14:25, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

i think you should add Gemini Spark and Gemini Booster. Gemini Spark can be chain agaisnt Trap Hole, Sakuretsu Armor], or maybe the Dimensional Prison. ( quick spell ) Gemini Booster become an equip card, so it's suited for Evocator Chevalier, or just for power up Gemini attack power ( 700 point is great i think ) and don't forget about Gemini Booster last effect ! gemini 93

Just some thoughts and opinions of the Gemini Deck.

and there should be Phoenix Gearfried.

I've been thinking about making a Gemini Deck myself lately. I got to thinking about which Gemini Monsters really are the best ones to use and could all of them be useful?

This list is just my opnion of for only 1 Tribute.)

9. Aquarian Alessa or Lucky Pied Piper, the powerful spells in the game are Normal Spells. Dark Deal turns those spells into discard effect cards thus allowing you to use Gemini Imps's effect to discard them and draw another card. This would also work very nicely with Doom Shaman to get the Imps into play for a turn.

This was brought to my attention from Triv on the IRC room, Black Bulldrago is an absolute must for a Gemini Deck to sound very much like Captain Obvious. Trygon 18:59, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

you can combine 3 Structure Deck 17: Warrior's Strike to form a new better deck and with some booster pack from STARDUST OVERDRIVE makes this deck very powerful

your friends very right gemini decks can be very slow but not if you use them correctly. i myself run a gemini deck a pointer is that the best synchros for this deck are lvl 8 due to most geminis being lvl 4 below is my deck just to give a few ideas for pheonix gearfiend and other great gemini warriors) 1xgaia knight the force of earth( just for extra support and good combination with cards like birthright) 1xsuperalloy beast raptinus(great effect)

deck: mosters: 1x phoeni gearfiend 1x evocator chevalier 1x goggle golem 2x gemin lance 2x blazewing butterfly 1x darkbribe 2x future samurai 2x tuedagiian 2x

My own Gemini Deck

This is mostly an edited version of Structure Deck 17: Warrior's Strike. Monster Cards

Fusion Monsters

Spell Cards

Trap Cards

I know that this isn't much different than the Structure Deck, so that is why I am accepting any suggestions to improving this deck, apart from the cards suggested in the structure deck itself.

      • editor here.***add in cursed armaments for evacator chevalier, and dark world shackles is a great card, too.a scrap iron scare crow helps protect your monsters, and add in ultimate offering. I have my own deck right now, so please mail me for more info. im not complete pro, but my friend is. we can help u. mail [email protected] and we'll talk about it.
      • When I made a Gemini focused deck, I took out a lot of the Warrior support (ie: Spell Striker, Freed, Field-Commander Rahz, Reinforcement of the Army, Divine Sword, etc), but I added in more ways to get Gemini Monsters in the Graveyard for easy retrieval. Add in a couple Future Fusions instead of using Polymerization. It will not deplete your hand that way, AND you can choose which 2 Gemini Monsters you want in your Graveyard to retrieve later instead of having to use what your hand limits you too. It also eliminates the need for Card Trooper, which makes room for Woodland Archer (since Future Fusion would put 2 Geminis in your Graveyard anyway). I would also look at buying another couple structure decks to get another Evacatur Chevalier, Supervise, and Double Summon. Also, add in a Tuned Magician to get some Synchro work going. Don't forget Black Bulldrago. Finally, I would throw in 2 curveballs. Look at Magical Reflect Slime...if you equip that with Supervise and attack your opponent's monster, THEY take the battle damage, and while your monster is destroyed, the special summon effect of Supervise activates. Also, try running Kuraz the Light Monarch. He can be used to destroy troublesome cards your opponent has, or some cards that would benefit you, like Supervise equipped to a different monster, a Big Bang Shot equipped to your opponents monster, or a Gemini Booster.

--Thank you. I was definitly looking into magical reflect slime and i did take out some of the warrior supports such as divine sword pheonix blade. But what i am concerned with is finding a better way to send geminis to the graveyard and more cards to special summon them without restraints stopping them from attacking or causing them to be destroyed. I am having large amounts of trouble finding future fusion and I also am having trouble finding a call of the haunted which is a lot more helpful than birthrite. I also added a woodland archer and i am debating whether or not i should add a gemini counter in the deck, as i already have a dark bribe. although, i will have to dissagree with you about spell striker and rienforcement of the army, which have helped me in tough times while testing this deck. also, can anyone tell me whether or not i should keep the deck count at 40 or should i add more to make it 45? Also, what synchro will be good in this deck?

  • editor here.*add in XX-saber fulhelmknight. it's a 3 star tuner warrior type monster with a great effect.add in swords of revealing light instead of nightmare steel cage.x saber wayne is an ok card for a warrior gemini deck,as mine is.black brute drago is a great synchro card. tuned magician is a gemini tuner, perfect for synchro summoning it.remember to mail [email protected] for more help.

-I definitely get your frustration about trying to special summon monsters w/o restraits stopping them from attacking, but I will use those cards on Blazewing Butterfly, Gemini Summon it, then use its effect to get whatever I want/need from the Grave. It will have its effect and not be hindered at all. That is really difficult to do though if you dont have a Future Fusion or 2. Without having access to any of them, Card Trooper and a lot of the Warrior support is needed. However, I am sure that you will find that when you get the Future Fusions you need, you will have much more flexibility and can do a good deal more. Call of the Haunted is also a necessity in this deck, but if you can't get one, there is no limitation to the number of Birthrites you can have in the deck. I actually have 1 Call of the Haunted and 2 Birthrites. Gemini Counter is a decent card. Make sure that you use it on a monster that has not been re-summoned so you don't lose much. I have that card in the side deck to tackle decks w/ a lot of spells (ie: Spell Counter). A couple more ideas though would be Summoner Monk, a Lightsworn (to help with milling and putting Geminis in your grave), and an Ultimate Offering (which will allow you to pay 500 LP to get another summon, which could be the Gemini's effect). Personally, I would keep the deck to as close to 40 as you can. There is not a lot of draw power, and you want to get to your Supervise as soon as you can. The best Synchro for the deck right now is Black Bulldrago. Really easy to summon w/ Tuned Magician. If you have Tuned Magician in the Graveyard, equip Blazewing butterfly w/ Supervise. Tribute it for its efffect, summoning Tuned Magician w/ its effect, but Supervise can be used to re-summon the Blazewing Butterfly just sent there. That gives you what you need for Black Bulldrago. Other than that, just use any other Synchro staples (ie: Stardust Dragon, Black Rose Dragon, etc.) Also, be on the lookout for Knight of the Red Lotus, who is very good in a Gemini Deck. Hope this helps...

This is ziek emerald i dont think that is a half bad formula but i dont think it is needed for oblisk the tormentor to be in a gemini deck and i like my monsters to have their effects when they come out so i'd throw in a ultimate offering and get rid of one birth right i dont use syncros so i make mine faster than so

My Gemini Deck

-Monsters- Phoenix Gearfried,2x Featherizer 3x Evocator Chevalier,3x Blazewing Butterfly 3x, Future Samurai , Gemini Soldier 2x, Gemini Summoner, Knight of the red lotus (Krl? (carl)) woodland archer Blackwing-gale x-saber aierbelum krebons

-Spells- Gemini Spark Supervise 3x axe of despair Double Summon 2x Lightning Vortex, Mystical Space Typhoon polemization heavy storm foolish

-Traps- gemini booster 2x bottemles trap hole Justi-Break, Ultimate Offering, 2x mirror force call of the honted

extra pawer tool dragon and that dragon for geminis

if enibody nows name for that dragon post it I dont want to srch the name

The name of the dragon is Superalloy Beast Raptinus and future fusion and polymerization arn't the only effective ways of getting him out. Nobody here has suggested Dragon's Mirror to get it out, and I think that that's quite effective. Also you guys, next time you post please put your decklists in the given Template:Decklist on the Deck Help page and remember to sign your posts with 4 tildes or by clicking the "Sign your name ~~~~" button below the edit box or the 5th from the right button above the edit box. I'm in the proces of making a new gemini deck that will incorporate a sped up style of play for gemini's and I'll post it up for you guys in a little while. u5h3ra1i' Relished Saber Player 16:50, June 10, 2010 (UTC)

dragon ? there 2 dragon, the fusion Superalloy Beast Raptinus and synchro Black Brutdrago . to u5h3ra1i : i also thinking about the dragon mirror , we can use it so easily but we can't use Woodland Archer ( or maybe the next turn ) anyway gemini spark is another one to think again ( it's a quick spell ) and last one, i 'm making gemini otk ( gigaplant otk ) hope is great one ! gemini 93

Personally Woodland Archer is somewhat slow because of its requirements on the graveyard. If you draw him first turn he isn't that great... Geminis don't need to be searching from the deck a lot because they maintain field presence using the grave. If you run Woodland Archer run a max of 2 and just use it before you use Dragon's Mirror. And I'd agree with the usage of Gemini Spark. It's one of the best Gemini support cards out there when used properly allowing you to draw and blow up an opposing card, so learn to use it an have fun. There's more of my opinion on the matter. =] u5h3ra1i' Relished Saber Player 08:08, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
i realy have to agree about woodland archer ( though it is my favorite one ) , i use 2 woodland right now ( i have tried 3 and it was so full of bad draw ). i'm tried of using Superalloy Beast Raptinus rather than supervise, cuz i'm using Gigaplant OTK. well, at least herculean power an supervise is must have one on gemini beat down theme . anyway you can share your opinon on here or to me maybe :)

rather than you have to thingking so hard alone to make a great deck of gemini Gemini 93 08:40, June 14, 2010 (UTC)

GEMINI DECK

Although i saw today the theme of the main page, i have to admit that using "Hero Blast" would never cross my mind. Nevertheless, for those who share the same admiration for Geminis, here comes the Deck i use based upon this theme:

Monsters: 1x "Gemini Soldier" 1x "Featherizer" 1x "Magical Reflect Slime" 1x "Gemini Summoner" 1x "Goggle Golem" 1x "King Pyron" 1x "Phantom Dragonray Bronto" 2x "Blazewing Butterfly" 2x "Dark Valkyria" 1x "Gemini Lancer" 1x "Tuned Magician" 1x "Evocator Chevalier" 2x "Elemental Hero Neos Alius" 1x "Grasschopper" 1x "Gigaplant" 1x "Chthonian Emperor Dragon" 1x "Phoenix Gearfried"

Spells: 1x "Horn of the Unicorn" 2x "Supervise" 1x "Gemini Spark" 2x "Super Double Summon" 1x "Branch!" 1x "Burden of the Mighty" 1x "Herculean Power" 1x "Dark Factory of Mass Production" 1x "Giant Trunade" 1x "Fusion Recovery" 2x "Polymerization" 1x "Silent Doom" 1x "Star Blast" 1x "Swing of Memories"

Traps: 1x "Birthright" 1x "Soul Resurrection" 1x "Spacegate" 1x "Ultimate Offering" 1x "Gemini Booster" 1x "Gemini Trap Hole" 1x "Justi-Break" 1x "Kunai with Chain"

Extra Deck: Fusion: 2x "Superalloy Beast Raptinus" 1x "Elemental Hero Gaia" 1x "Elemental Hero Absolute Zero"

Synchro: 1x "Stardust Dragon" 2x "Black Brutdrago"

A total Deck of 45 cards. "Elemental Hero Neos Alius" is optional. I use it for the Fusion Heroes. That's why most monsters in this Deck are either EARTH or WATER. If "Elemental Hero Great Tornado" was ever released in TCG, i would definitely use it in this Deck. Many of these cards can be excluded or substituted by others if you like... I just use these cards from the first moment i created this Deck. It runs pretty good, although some times you can run out of cards in your hand... I hope you agree with this Deck recipe!

Gemini Deck for Comparison

Just thought I'd give you my take, it has a few interesting ideas, including the use of Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys and Dark Dust Spirit, for extra field-clearing opportunities. And with the use of Sacred Phoenix with cards like Symbols of Duty, Dark Valkyria, Dark Dust Spirit, as well as opponent's card effects, makes it that little bit more useful. I was originally going to make a Spirit/Gemini Hybrid - with Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi, Yamata Dragon, Izanami, Gundari and Asura Priest also - which was working well, but seemed to use way too many cards.

I think most Gemini users have trouble with speed, and getting cards in the graveyard. I am expecting Needlebug Nest to become a new staple for some deck types, perhaps Gemini decks too. (Now hunting on eBay =P)

1x Treeborn Frog - 1x Card Trooper - 2x Marauding Captain - 1x Lucky Pied Piper - 2x Infinity Dark - 3x Blazewing Butterfly - 1x Gemini Scorpion - 3x Evocator Chevalier - 1x Grasschopper - 1x Dark Dust Spirit - 1x Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys - 1x Phoenix Gearfried

3x Supervise - 2x Symbols of Duty - 1x Dark Hole - 1x Gold Sarcophagus - 2x Hand Destruction - 1x Monster Reborn - 2x Double Summon - 2x Mystical Space Typhoon - 1x Release Restraint Wave - 2x Swing of Memories - 2x Silent Doom

2x Blast with Chain - 2x Drastic Drop Off - 1x Birthright - 1x Torrential Tribute

Hope it helped somewhere! - CASPERMORGAN (talkcontribs) 09:38, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
