- This card can be searched by "Triple Tactics Thrust", "Endymion, the Mighty Master of Magic", and other generic searchers.
- "Lifeless Leaffish" can send a Level 4 or lower Fish monster from the Deck to the GY, which can then be Special Summoned with this card.
- Since the effects of "Xyz Remora" can be used multiple times in the same turn, this card can be used to add a new "Xyz Remora" to the hand, while using the one Special Summoned by its effect as a material for another Xyz Summon, which can then enable the effect of the "Xyz Remora" in the hand.
- Using this card with "Wind-Up Shark", "Buzzsaw Shark", "Lantern Shark" or "Saber Shark" allows the player to Xyz Summon Rank 3, 4, and 5 Xyz Monsters.
