"Magnet Warrior" (磁石の戦士マグネット・ウォリアー, Magunetto Woriā), called "Magna Warrior" in the manga, are a series of Rock-Type monsters, identified by having "Magnet Warrior" in their name. Each "Magnet Warrior" is named after a Greek letter.

There are two class of "Magnet Warriors". The first is a trio of Normal Monsters, "Alpha, "Beta" and "Gamma", who combine to Summon "Valkyrion the Magna Warrior". These cards are used by Yugi Muto.

The second class are a series of Effect Monsters that have the unique sub-types of Plus and Minus. These cards are used by Bastion Misawa.

Strategies and Tips

In order to build a deck around The Magnet Warrior monster, it is key to remember that all three are normal Rock type monsters. Having 3 copies of each is ideal as they can benefit from having multiple copies of one another to support each other.

A big winner for The Magnet Warrior monsters is having 3 copies of the same monster on the field and activating Delta Attacker to allow all three monsters to attack your opponent directly.

You can include equip cards like United We Stand and Chthonian Alliance which allow the equipped monster to gain huge amounts of Attack power from having other monsters on the field.

2 out of three of The Magnet Warriors can be added to your hand through effects like Sangan and Backup Soldier since Alpha The Magnet Warrior and Gamma The Magnet Warrior both have 1500 or less attack points, adding speed to the deck.

Including many manual Flip effect monsters such as Guardian Sphinx and Stealth Bird are a good option since they can add some extra backbone to the deck.

If all else fails, you can always include a copy of Megarock Dragon to have a backup plan in case you can't summon The Magnet Warriors. It benefits from having multiple Rock monsters in your Graveyard which you can remove from play to increase it's power

With a copy of Megarock Dragon in your deck, you might want to add, at least, one copy of Release from Stone, as it will allow you to special summon most of your removed from play Rock monsters to your field.

In order so speed up the process of summoning Megarock Dragon, you can include out to three copies of Rock Bombardment, which sends monsters directly from your deck to your graveyard and inflicts 500 points of damage to your opponent for each copy you activate.

As with actual magnets, it's a good idea to make a Magnet Warrior Deck revolve around battle control. Use cards like Shift and Cross Counter to redirect your opponents attacks to a higher defense monster you control, double the damage they take, and destroy their monster, all in one move. Continuous Destruction Punch and Destruction Punch are a big help as most monsters in a Magnet Warrior deck have very high Defense power.

Use Pot of Avarice to add destroyed Magnet Warriors back into your deck and get 2 extra cards as well

Using Stall cards such as Swords of Revealing Light can be very helpful as you assemble your Monsters together

You should try to include other normal Rock type monsters such as Giant Soldier of Stone to help beef up your defenses and give you an extra type of monster to activate Delta Attacker

Try to include at the most 1 Valkyrion the Magna Warrior to have a main monster to create a focus around.

Since you don't have to summon the individual Magnet Warriors to Summon Valkyrion the Magna Warrior, cards that help add monsters to your hand such as Magical Mallet are a staple.

Support cards that summon from the graveyard such as Birthright, Silent Doom, Monster Reborn, and Call of the Haunted are very key in order to make a deck work.

Use DNA Surgery to change all of your Magnet Warriors to Warrior type or Thunder type and use cards like Lightning Blade and Makiu, the Magical Mist to add some extra Electric elements to a magnet warrior deck. Including a copy of Summoned Skull would also help as if you can't draw DNA Surgery in time.

Solidarity is a big must since all The Magnet Warriors are Rock type monsters who can benefit if you only have Rock type monsters in your Graveyard.

With Summoned Skull and Sangan in the Deck, you could put in Dark Fusion and add Evil Hero Dark Gaia since you will have a ton of rock monsters to choose as fusion materials
