Reginald Kastle's Decks

Revision as of 00:09, 6 September 2012 by 107.3.109.88 (talk) (Pre-World Duel Carnival)

Reginald plays a Xyz WATER Deck[1] consisting of monstrous looking sea creatures such as various races of sharks and arthropods. His nickname is "Shark" and is derived from his Deck theme and his previous brutal nature.

Shark utilizes a Burn strategy in order to quickly gain the advantage through cards such as "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark" and "Explosive Urchin", with a focus on using Level 3 monsters to Xyz Summon Rank 3 Xyz Monsters. After his loss to Yuma he modified his Deck to counter the "Numbers" by negating their effects with "Black Ray Lancer" and utilizing cards to take control of them. Reginald's Deck also sports a large quantity of cards to negate or destroy Spell and Trap Cards such as "Deep Sea King's Judgment" and "Mystical Space Typhoon". His ace monster is "Black Ray Lancer"[2].

After gaining the ability to Summon a Chaos "Number", "Number C32: Shark Drake Vice", Shark's Deck shifted a bit to include more Level 4 monsters to aide in the Summoning of "Number 32: Shark Drake" and became more focused on the "Shark" archetype.
