Picture
Just wondering, but shouldn't the picture on Atticus's page be of Atticus himself, rather then Nightshroud. I get that he basically was Nightshroud at first (or something like that, haven't seen the whole series) but I always figured it was more like a Yami-Hikari thing. - I agree. It looks like someone uploaded the current image under the same file name as the previous one, which was just Atticus. I'll look around for another picture. The current one can be moved further down in the article. Its a great pic, but it is sort of inaccurate. Cheesedude (talk • contribs) 03:59, November 23, 2010 (UTC)
Power of Nightshroud
some article in this page is inaccurate... this page state that Atticus interrupt the ritual that Yusuke performed and wounded Yusuke, who cursed Atticus to become Nightshroud's host in revenge. Yusuke did get a wound but he get it as he need his blood to summon Nightshroud's power
this is wrong as Atticus didn't interrupt the ritual and i believe all he do is trying to stop Yusuke and he failed...
he didn't get cursed to become host of Nightshroud, all Yusuke do was give him part of Nightshroud power that he doesn't need anymore (in a form of Mask) to Atticus as a farewell gift.
The reason Atticus become Nightshroud's first host is because he try to use the power of nightshroud but can not control it.
First of All Nightshroud's power exist as energy that drive people insane instead of as evil spirit that control other people. This is why we can see how Atticus, Yusuke, and the real Nightshroud's personality differ when they are using Nightshroud's power. --Dainsleaf (talk • contribs) 07:50, December 29, 2010 (UTC)
- Corrected the mistakes in regards to the ritual, thank you for pointing that out. As far as possession vs. insanity goes, was this ever stated in the anime? You could be right, but I'm not positive. It makes sense in Fujiwara's case that he was simply driven insane, but Atticus seemed to be completely under his influence. - this is just my opinion but i do belive Darkness/Nightshroud that possess atticus and Nightshroud the final antagonist of the series is different...
- this can be seen from the conversation of Judai and Darkness in their final battle (darkness never mention how Judai defeat him when he possesses Atticus) and how the personality of Darkness that Judai fought is different from Darkness Atticus (Darkness atticus more like crazed man and the real Darkness is more like fanatic dark messiah)
- from this conclusion i can see that atticus just unable to control the power of darkness he possess.
- in Fujiwara case i believe he isn't driven insane by the power of darkness, instead he is insane from the beginning as fujiwara is shown to be completely aware of what he doing when he use the power of darkness (and on that subject it seemed that fujiwara is able to control the power of darkness instead of being controlled by it).--Dainsleaf (talk • contribs) 05:08, December 30, 2010 (UTC)
Banner
I'm not sure either of these duels happened. For the first, he says that Banner lead him to the Abandoned Dorm, where he was forced to duel. My assumption was that he was dueling another student selected for the same "test", not Banner himself. For the second one, I'm not sure it was ever stated that a duel was what incapacitated him, though I suppose that's a fair assumption to make. - In episode 159, Atticus (Fubuki) stated that he had had a test Duel with Banner. And his Duel with Amnael - I saw that information in this article. --109.93.24.251 (talk) 01:35, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
