Transcender |
Transcender, known as Transer in the Japanese version, is a character in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Duel Transer.
Biography
Transcenders serve as a personal army for Surtr at first, and for Odin later. They are used as obstacles for challengers to overcome in Yggdrasil, and to wear down the characters as they go through Bifröst.
Two specific Transcenders, Freki and Geri, are given unique names and colorations.
Odin states that Surtr is also a Transcender, which Surtr himself denies. This is confirmed to be true by the Tattered Journal found in Niflheimr.
The Tattered Journal also states Transcenders were built by Odin's tribe, with his followers ultimately revolting against him due to creating Transcenders identical to humans for the purpose of taking over the world.
Transcenders are the only opponents that can be found in Niflheimr, and specific ones use Decks that completely ignore the game's Forbidden/Limited Lists.
Decks
Transcenders use a wide variety of Decks.
