If there are any suggestions or comments, feel free to leave them on the Talk Page. Reporting Vandalism What do you do if there are no sysops/admins/mods online, and you need someone banned quickly? Well, here's a quote from Deltaneos on my Talk page: If there aren't any admins around when someone is vandalising, you can ask Wikia's SpamTaskForce for assistance. The easiest method without installing anything, in my opinion, would be to use VSTF Wiki's IRC Channel. Once on that site: 1) At the 'Gateway Login Form' at the bottom of the page, type in a Username. This can be almost anything, but it's recommended that you use your own Username. 2) Check that it's set to the '#wikia-vstf' Channel. This should be the default Channel, but I'm telling you just in case. 3) Fill in the 'reCAPTCHA' box, this is to prevent bots from spamming them. 4) Click the 'Connect' button. 5) Wait for everything to load, then at the bottom, type in your message and click 'Say'. The message should be something like: "<INSERT USERNAME OR IP> keeps replacing content with inappropriate messages. See http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Special:RecentChanges" or "<INSERT USERNAME OR IP> is continually vandalising. See http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Contributions/<INSERT USERNAME OR IP>" Then if all goes well, a member of the VSTF should Block them fairly quickly. Note that it is recommended that you give them a few chances (e.g. 3) and if they continue to do so, then use the above method. Making Your Userpage Look Nice Introduction To prevent annoying other members (well, the ones why use the 'Recent Changes' page a lot), you should use the 'Preview' Button when testing out what a minor change does, and before saving your page. This button can be found next to the 'Publish' button, and surprisingly, quite a lot of people don't see it and do like 20 edits in a row, cluttering/shortening the recent changes list. That being said, almost everything you need to know for doing this can be found Here. Other Tips Stuff that weren't in the above link will be added here. Decklists A good template to use can be found here. The page also explains how to use it. However, there are still some things that are not included on that page. If you want to use an image, there is a way to do so, without uploading it to this Wikia. This can be done quite easily. 1) Upload your image to an image hosting site which is on the External image whitelist I recommend using Photobucket. 2) Copy the 'Direct Link' of your newly uploaded image. 3) Paste this link on where you want the image to be. You do not need to add any tags. The raw link is enough to display the image. Just copy the "Sample Value(s)" that you want into the box on the page. You can use multiples are once. This means "and". These are generally NOT used on Tips pages. The "|sort=ATK |order=descending" does what they say they do, so I doubt I need to explain that. Other comments on the Semantic Search Tables: It is possible to 'overload' these tables by adding too many Queries, so try to refrain from doing that.
