Hi Ygco! I was wondering if you could give me a hand: When you're checking the effects of a Pendulum Monster, say, "Magical Abductor", you have
Pendulum Effect
and
Monster Effect
at the English lore box. For the French lore box, you have
Effet Pendule
and
Effet de Monstre
, which are the official French names, respectively. However, if you check the Korean lore, you have
펜듈럼 효과
and
Monster Effect
. As you can see,
Monster Effect
is not translated. But I'd like the official name, so I was wondering if you would be able to find the official Korean name for
Monster Effect
(you should be able to find it at an official issue by Konami or a document, like a rulebook or something). If you do find it, you could also add it to Monster effect, similar to how it's added to Pendulum Effect. Thanks in advance! Becasita Pendulum (talk • contribs) 19:56, September 28, 2016 (UTC)

Noting external links

Hello there! Thank you for your additions. Just one note: please don't italicize the Korean (and Japanese names). And on the external links, please do it more like this (the Korean entry should be between the Portuguese and the Italian and use just yugioh.co.kr or yugioh.co.kr/lineup). Thank you! I understand it. Thank you for letting me know. Ygco8888 (talkcontribs) 15:18, June 19, 2016 (UTC)

Fullwidth characters in Korean

Hi there. You seem to have been making lots of edits regarding Korean stuff, so maybe you could help me with this. Should fullwidth characters be used always in Korean name? Or are there some instances where they shouldn't be used? For instance, which is more correct? 분보그001제로제로원 or 분보그제로제로? Or even another thing? Here is a pic of it. I guess the latter is more correct, right? But they look more spaced here than in the card image, but that could be due to the render, no?
What about here? 골드 시리즈 2011 or 골드 시리즈 2011? I guess the latter as well, right?
But what about cases like "Malefic Claw Stream"? The "Malefic" Korean name should be Sin 클로 스트림 or Sin 클로 스트림? Here is an example. They really don't look as spaced at the card as the fullwidth one do.
From what I've gathered, fullwidth seems the way to go, but I would like to be sure on it. Thank you for your attention. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 14:39, July 8, 2016 (UTC)

Since the official Korean version of the database does not offer, I can not give a definite answer. (Many Korean Yugioh Users feel a lot of inconvenience about the database does not exist, including me.)
However, most of the Internet in Korea, full-width characters are not used. (Only half-width characters are commonly used.)
Also, when saw the card or the text of the Korean version, I think it's closer to half-width than the full-width.
Also in South Korea following the official site, you can see that being used half-width characters. http://www.yugioh.co.kr/lineup/item_old
Due to my lack of English proficiency, the sentences are written with the help of Google Translator. (I'm Korean.) Ygco8888 (talkcontribs) 15:04, July 8, 2016 (UTC)
No worries, I was able to understand you.
Hum, so halfwidth is the way to go, it seems. Weird. I don't know what to do, then. In some cases they look closer to half width, but sometimes they also look fullwitdh (like the number here; it looks the same style as the Japanese one).
Thanks a lot for your contributions! Good Korean images are usually hard to find. And thanks for your help with this! Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 15:35, July 8, 2016 (UTC)
