Major Events
- A four-way free-for-all Duel that determines who faces who in the Semi-Finals
- The first two duelists to lose will face each other first. Then the winners will face
- Each Duelist can attack or defend any of the other three
- The turn order was determined by selected 1 monster in your Deck and remove it from play. The owner of the monster with the highest ATK goes first and the lowest goes last
- As each player's Life Points decrease, their chair rises higher up the Duel Tower until they hit 0, which then their chair will rise to the top.
Seto's Turn
- Sets a card
- Summons Vorse Raider (1900/1200) in attack position
Marik's Turn
- Summons Newdoria (1200/800) in defense position
Yugi's Turn
- Summons Big Shield Gardna (100/2600) in defense position
- Sets two cards
Joey's Turn
- Sets a card
Seto's Turn
- Attacks Joey directly with Vorse Raider
- Yugi activates The Regulation of Tribe, declaring a Type of monster so it can't attack as long as it's on the field
Marik's Turn
- Sets a card
- Summons Lord Poison (1500/1000) in attack position
- Switches Newdoria to attack position
- Attacks Vorse Raider with Newdoria
- When Newdoria is destroyed as a result of battle its effect activates, allowing Marik to destroy Vorse Raider
- Activates Spell of Pain, transferring the damage to Joey (Joey 3300) (Note: In the real game, Spell of Pain only works on Effect Damage)
Yugi's Turn
- In order to maintain The Regulation of Tribe Yugi must tribute a monster. He doesn't, so it's destroyed
- Tributes Big Shield Gardna to summon Archfiend of Gilfer (2200/2500) in attack position
- Attacks Kaiba directly with Archfiend of Gilfer
- Kaiba activates Attack Guidance Armor, redirecting the attack to Lord Poison
- Marik activates Mirror Force to negate the attack and destroy all monsters in attack position on Yugi's side of the field
- Yugi activates Seven Tools of the Bandit, paying 1000 LP (Yugi 3000) to negate and destroy Mirror Force
- Archfiend of Gilfer destroys Lord Poison (Marik 3300)
Joey's Turn
- Summons Gearfried the Iron Knight (1800/1600) in attack position
- Attacks Kaiba directly with Gearfried (Kaiba 2200)
- Sets a card
Seto's Turn
- Sets three cards
- Summons Blade Knight (1600/1000) and attacks Marik directly (Marik 1700)
Marik's Turn
- Summons Dark Jeroid (1200/1500) in attack position and activates its effect, reducing Gearfried's ATK by 800 (1000/1600)
- Attacks Gearfried with Jeroid
- Joey activates Skull Dice, dividing Dark Jeroid's ATK by the number rolled. It's a two (600/1500) (Note: In the real game, Skull Dice reduces the ATK/DEF of all opposing monsters by the roll of the die x100)
- Kaiba activates Shrink, halving Gearfried's ATK (500/1600) (Joey 3200)
Yugi's Turn
- Yugi tries to attack Jeroid with Archfiend of Gilfer, but Joey convinces Yugi that his best move is to attack Joey, telling Yugi he wants to be treated as his equal, meaning no special treatment
- Yugi attacks Joey directly with Archfiend of Gilfer (Joey 1000)
Joey's Turn
- Summons Axe Raider (1700/1150) in attack position
- Attacks Blade Knight with Axe Raider
- Seto activates Ring of Destruction, destroying Axe Raider and inflicting damage to Joey and Seto equal to its ATK
- Seto activates Ring of Defense, reducing any Effect Damage he takes to 0 until the end of the turn
- Joey still takes damage due to Ring of Destruction
- Joey activates Graverobber, taking Spell of Pain from Marik's graveyard
- Activates Spell of Pain, redirecting the damage to Marik (Marik 0)
Seto's Turn
- Attacks Joey directly with Blade Knight (Joey 0)
Yugi and Seto win the duel which means Joey vs. Marik and Yugi vs. Seto in the semi-final round
